Bus Changes: Bus 52 is back to bus 52

                         Bus 58 is Bus 51 until further notice
                         Bus 53 is back to Bus 53 as of 12/5
Starting 12/9 Bus 56 is Bus 21 indefinitely.  

 REMINDER:  Water only is allowed during school hours!  This includes lunch period!  No energy drinks, coffee, soda, etc.

Jewell Island recently constructed ancient Greek temples.

Students and staff voted on the Most Authentic and the Most Creative.

The winners for the Most Authentic temple, in honor of Poseidon, are Theodore Martin, Brody Miller, Lincoln Whitney and Jamie Woodruff.

The winners for the Most Creative temple, in honor of Aphrodite, are Grace Favreau, Sophie Nall, Rose Rigazio, and Natalie Staples.

Congratulations to all the students for building temples to show what they learned about the Classical Architectural Orders!

Here is an announcement from the art department:  Sign ups are now open for Art Club.  Art club for 7th and 8th graders starts Thursday, January 2nd.  Art Club for 6th graders starts Tuesday, January 7th.  Art club meets after school until 4:00.  Please sign up on the sheet at the bottom of the stairs if you plan on attending.   See Ms Bucknam or Mrs McCarthy if you need more information.  See you at Art Club.
