Congratulations to Meara Piampiano who won first place in the Osher Map Library Mapmaking Contest. With her map titled, “Lupine Reef”, she won $500 for herself and another $500 for her class. Great work, Meara!

Any 8th Graders interested in playing football at BHS next fall, please sign up in the lobby. There will be a signing day with the coaches during lunch on May 23.

Chess Club is canceled this week.

8th Grade Math Team will meet this week at the normal time! See you there!

Don’t forget to bring in wet puppy and kitten food and toys for the Humane Society. The advisory that donates the most toys and food wins a pizza party from Warmings Market! The drive ends on Friday, May 31. Good Luck!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Struggling with mental health can be a scary, dark or intense battle and it can be hard to talk about. Reach out to your people, your friends, teammates, family, coaches or another trusted adult. No one deserves to struggle alone. If you need to talk, the mental health team here at BJHS (Mrs. Roy, Mrs. Weeks, Miss. Wood, Miss. Caitlin, Dr. Gleeson and nurse Jenn) are always ready to help, listen and support you.
