REMINDER:  Water only is allowed during school hours!  This includes lunch period!  No energy drinks, coffee, soda, etc.

Thank you to the talented staff for your performance last night!  The BJH Talent Show was a huge success!  Thank you to all the students and parents who came out to support the performers!

Easy ways to improve your mental health:
Sleep! Sleep without electronics! Get ya sleep!
Balanced diet, and limited caffeine and yes that means Monster or Celsius drinks!
Get outside!
Exercise and movement
Take time away from your phones!
Be kind to your mind. 

How many minutes have you logged on your Outside Challenge tracker sheet?  The challenge is from May 10 through May 17!  Use your class tracker to track the minutes of your advisory group - the advisory with the most minutes will get a pizza party!!

Don’t forget to bring in wet puppy and kitten food and toys for the Humane Society. The advisory that donates the most toys and food wins a pizza party from Warmings Market! The drive ends on Friday, May 31. Good Luck!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Struggling with mental health can be a scary, dark or intense battle and it can be hard to talk about. Reach out to your people, your friends, teammates, family, coaches or another trusted adult. No one deserves to struggle alone. If you need to talk, the mental health team here at BJHS (Mrs. Roy, Mrs. Weeks, Miss. Wood, Miss. Caitlin, Dr. Gleeson and nurse Jenn) are always ready to help, listen and support you.

The PickleBall Tournament is FRIDAY!! The tournament starts at 2:45 and ends at 4. The 1st place winners get a free small Gelato Fiasco gift card. The tournament is sponsored by Community Outreach!

    • Tabletop Gaming Club will meet from the walker bell until 3:30 in room 308 

    • Civil Rights Club - meets from the walker bell until 3:30 in Room 312

    • Chess Club meets weekly in Room 317 at the walker bell and will end at 3:30. 

    • Whose Crime is it Anyway in room 207 from the walker bell until 3:30. 

    • Student Council meets in the cafeteria from the walker bell until 4:00.

    • Coffin Food Market - Open to all Brunswick Residents with school aged kids - Market is open from 3 to 5 pm weekly.

    • Creative Writing Club will meet from the walker bell until 3:45 in the library
