The Civil Rights team meets on Monday afternoons from the walker bell until 3:30. It’s never too late to join. So come and be part of the group that helps fight discrimination. See Mr. Levy or Mr. Kosak if you have any questions. We meet in room 312.
Congratulations to the cross country team on a fantastic championship race yesterday! The girls cross country team finished fourth out of twelve teams with Phoebe Olcott placing 8th overall. For the boys team, Brady Boron placed 4th, helping the team complete an undefeated season with yet another overall victory! Last but not least, the team went on to win the co-ed race as well, led by a huge first place finish by Drew Wilson. Congrats to all our runners on a great season!
High School Musical Jr information!!!! There will be a workshop for students who want to learn audition songs for High School Musical Junior on Monday, October 23 until 3:15 and Thursday October 26 until 3:15 in the chorus room. Any student who wants to audition for a musical lead can attend. Keep listening for more opportunities and information in the next week because musical auditions and sign-ups are coming up soon!
Yearbook Club info!! Yearbook Club will be starting on Monday, October 30th in Room 317 from the walker bell to 4 p.m. If you are interested in participating in Yearbook, please see Mr. Landry in room 317 for a permission slip.

Are you creative? Like to Draw? Submit your drawing in the Yearbook Cover Contest! The winner of the contest will get their artwork on the cover of the yearbook and will get a free yearbook! All entries for the cover contest need to be submitted to Mr. Landry in Room 317 by Friday, October 27! If you have any questions, see Mr. Landry!
On November 3rd, there will be a 3v3 basketball tournament in the gym after school. There is a maximum of 8 teams so sign up fast! One staff member per team will be allowed, but it isn’t required. The signup sheet is in the lobby. See Owen, Bryce, Lennox or Ms. Robbins for more information.
Food Drive is ON! Community Outreach is hosting a food drive to support Tedford Housing. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to come together and collect as many canned goods, non-perishable items, and spices as we can. The homeroom that collects the most will receive a pizza party from Domino's! Bring your donations to your advisor! Let's all work together to make a positive impact in our community. Thank you for your assistance! The food drive will take place from October 16-27th.

Registration for Basketball and Cheering will open on October 30 on Powerschool. If your child will be participating in a winter sport, please be sure to register them. If they had a physical uploaded for a fall sport and is current in the last 2 years, you do not need to upload another one. If your child has not participated in a fall sport, please upload a copy of their latest physical and/or a doctor's note stating they are cleared to play a sport.
LATE BUS INFORMATION: The Late Bus Service will leave the Junior High at 4:10 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. If you will be taking the late bus or sports, clubs, or after school help with a teacher, you MUST get a blue bus pass from the Main Office. Please come to the Main office in the morning before lunch if you are going to be riding the late bus! Thank you!
