MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Code of Ethics Winners this week are: 

6th grade: Lillian Moore

7th grade: William Driscoll

8th grade: Aiden Robinson

REMINDER:  Water only is allowed during school hours!  This includes lunch period !  No energy drinks, coffee, soda, etc.

Tabletop Gaming club will be taking place each Monday this school year. Our first gathering will be on Monday, September 25th until 3:30 p.m. in room 308. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Similien in room 308.

Chess Club will be taking place on Tuesdays this school year. Our first meeting will be on Tuesday, September 19th until 3:30 p.m. in room 317. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Landry in room 317.

Do you have a strong sense of justice? Are you interested in making the world and Brunswick Junior High a more inclusive and fairer place? Then check out the Civil Rights Team. We meet every Monday from the walker bell until 3:30 in room 312.  Have questions? See Mr. Levy or Mr. Kosak.

Once again BJHS students participated in our Summer Reading Program. One hundred and thirty-two students read a whopping 804 books! Congratulations, BJHS readers!  You've earned a popcorn treat during SSR this week! Your SSR teacher will distribute it to you.  Happy reading!

Advanced Choir will meet on Tuesdays and Fridays at 7AM all year. Thanks!

Field Hockey: Home vs. Lake Region 4pm (7th only) - 7th grade report to field right after walker bell

                        8th Practice 2:45-3:45

Cross Country- Greely Relay, Dismissal 2:15

LATE BUS INFORMATION:  The Late Bus Service will start on September 18.  It will leave the Junior High at 4:10 on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  If you will be taking the late bus or sports, clubs, or after school help with a teacher, you MUST get a blue bus pass from the Main Office.  Please come to the Main office in the morning before lunch if you are going to be riding the late bus!  Thank you!

    • Civil Rights Club - meets from the walker bell until 3:30 in Room 312

  • Tuesday

    • Chess Club will start on September 18.  The club will meet weekly in Room 317 and will end at 3:30.

    • Whose Crime is it Anyway will start October 3.

    • Coffin Food Market - Open to all Brunswick Residents with school aged kids - Market is open from 3 to 5 pm weekly.

    • Creative Writing Club starts September 28 and will be held in the Library from the walker bell until 3:45

  • Friday 

    • Q&A Club - in the cafe until 3:30 - starts Friday, September 15!
