Boys Soccer: With a win over MTA this past week, boys soccer secured the #3 seed and will host #6 Hampden Academy TUESDAY, Tonight at 5 PM.
Girls Soccer: With two wins in their last three games (Mt. Blue and MTA), girls soccer advanced to be the #4 seed and will host #5 Brewer Tonight at 7 PM.

Looking for Alpine and/or Nordic ski equipment for this winter? Then join the Freeport/Brunswick Ski Boosters on Saturday, November 2nd from 9:00am-1:00pm for their annual Ski Swap at the Freeport High School Gym (30 Holbrook Street). Boosters has partnered with Sport Thoma to supply new and used Alpine equipment and Akers Ski for a variety of Cross Country skis and Nordic gear. Along with individual consignments this adds up to a HUGE selection of skis, boots, poles, helmets, goggles, gloves, jackets, pants, skate sleds and other miscellaneous gear for lots of winter fun! Additionally, all proceeds raised by the Swap go to supporting the Brunswick and Freeport High School Alpine and Nordic ski teams! Poinsettia Fundraiser
Our 14th ANNUAL POINSETTIA SALE fundraiser to benefit the BHS music program has begun!
Back by popular demand, this year's poinsettias will be supplied by Longfellow's Greenhouses in Manchester, Maine. With this online order form you can order poinsettias for yourself or others, donate plants to Meals on Wheels, or simply make a donation to support BHS Music. Promoting this sale in your neighborhood, workplace, or faith community will help it to be successful!

Playoff Season is Here!
XC: Cross Country continues its strong season when they attend the Regional meet tomorrow in Belfast, and then the State Meet at Twin Brook on Nov. 2.
Field Hockey: With a win to spoil MTA's senior night, FIeld Hockey moved up to 6th and will travel to #3 Messalonskee on WEDNESDAY OCT 30 at 6 PM.

Volunteer Opportunity at HBS
Harriet Beecher Stowe is looking for student volunteers to help at their election simulation by supervising the polls (they are voting on their favorite book) November 4th (Monday - Orange day) 10-1PM during the day. See Mr. Wilson to sign up
Great way to be outside and earn some volunteer hours at the same time.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
The Arts Are Elementary board is once again having their annual fundraiser called Cahoots. The date has been changed to November 9 from 10-1 at Harriett Beecher Stowe School gym. I am looking for 10-15 teenage volunteers to help with set up, clean up, and what ever happens in between! We will have 2 shifts for those who can’t commit to being there the entire time. Those shifts are 9-11:30 and 11:30-2. Please sign up here

Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program (MCHPP) invites you to the 2024 Harvest Craft & Food Fair! Shop from over 70 local crafters and food vendors, grab lunch from a local food truck, and support MCHPP’s holiday programming through our bake sale or by entering a raffle for some fantastic holiday gift baskets. Bring the family for some fun in the Kid’s Corner featuring crafts with Arts Are Elementary, glitter tattoos, and more!
Proceeds will support MCHPP’s food security efforts during the holiday season and beyond. We look forward to seeing you there!
