LADY DRAGONS DROP PORTLAND-CAPE-WAYNFLETE-CUMBERLAND COUNTY 5-4
Your lady dragons showed up and dropped the 5th ranked Beacons of greater Portland last night by a score of 5-4. The dragons out shot the so-called Beacons 33-14. Sophomore and Nordic Skiing aficionado Solveig Ledwick led the way with three goals and an assist. Senior Captain Celeste Braillard put home what proved to be the game winner and also added an assist. Lisi Palmer and Lauren Labbe also contributed two points each while Lily Calderwood and Gillian Countway rounded out the scoring with key helpers and solid forechecking throughout the game before a raucous crowd in Portland.
Your hometown team returns to action this Saturday night for an old-fashioned senior night grudge match against St. Dom's at Bowdoin College at 8:30 pm. Good seats are still available!
It is time to register for Spring Sports! To do this, your parent must log into PowerSchool with their Parent credentials, click "General" and then "Forms".
