SPORTS NEWS
BHS-FHS Boys Hockey Your Varsity Dragons next take on Lewiston Saturday at 8pm at Watson Arena in a pre-season exhibition contest that should prove challenging. Go Dragons!
On Sunday, December 3, from 1-3pm, the Boys Hockey Team will be pulling a 7000 pound Zamboni in competition against other 'pullers' on the site of the Six Rivers Youth Sports Complex in Topsham. That's right...a 3 1/2 ton Zamboni! In the parking lot! With nothing but rope and muscle! Check it out! Cheer them on! Flyers are posted on the Boys Hockey Bulletin Board in the main hallway; go on line; form a team; join in the fun. Coach Hages' extends the challenge to all other winter sports coaches and their teams: Form your own Zam-pull team and just try to beat us! Go Dragons!
ACTIVITIES AND CLUB NEWS
Congratulations to Victoria Culpepper, the winner of the Portland Pie Dough Cooking Competition! Victoria created a pan fried dumpling filled with a sauteed meat filling served with a side of marinara. It was beautifully plated and delicious! Bonnie McAdams from Portland Pie was our guest judge for the competition and was very impressed with the quality of all the dishes.
Our next Competitive Cooking Challenge will be held on December 5th. The theme will be handheld "Smash Burgers" and is being sponsored by Brickyard Hollow.
Outing Club will meet on Tuesday, Dec. 5th room 221 (Marion). New and returning members welcome! See Google Classroom for more details.

GUIDANCE OFFICE NEWS
College Rep Visits have wrapped up for the year, but fear not! We will resume in January.
Every month in the guidance office we have colleges from all over the country coming to BHS for college visits. This is the perfect time to start exploring colleges you or your student is interested in and ask questions. Please look at the picture for a calendar with dates and times for each school visiting. A monthly update will go out in the google classrooms and via ReachMyTeach. The visits are scheduled for one hour with the college representative and will take place in the guidance office. Please email me at kshackley@brunswicksd.org if you want to meet with the rep!
