Climate Action Plan
From rising temperatures to increases in precipitation and storm intensity, Maine is already experiencing the effects of climate change, and each year, the impacts of these localized climate hazards grow continuously more noticeable around Town. The town of Brunswick is creating a climate action plan to develop a strategy that will reduce town-wide emissions, build resilience, and help us to prepare for climate change. The Town of Brunswick values student voices and they are interested in what you think about climate change. This is a chance for all BHS students to come together to share their opinions regarding how the town should best prioritize future actions in ways that promote economic prosperity, social equity, enhanced quality of life, and climate resilience. Your science classes may be involved in an upcoming in-school workshop and we will be able to see student results of this school wide survey soon. The survey takes only five minutes to complete. Thanks!
