Brunswick High School is pleased to invite you to our annual Back To School Night which will take place on September 28th from 6:00-8:00PM at the high school.
This event will be an opportunity for families to experience student schedules, explore the BHS facility, be introduced to BHS faculty, and to learn about community engagement experiences available to all BHS students.
The Back to School Night program will provide you the opportunity to meet with all of your student’s teachers and learn about the classes they are enrolled in this year.
When students have a study hall in their schedule, families are welcome to do one of the following activities:
Visit the BHS Library, including our makerspace and recording studio
Stop into the BHS Counseling Office to meet your student’s school counselor
Meet with members of the BHS Administrative Team and enjoy refreshments in the school cafeteria
Learn about social work at BHS and how students may access services
Speak with members of our Community Engagement and Extended Learning Opportunities (ELO) Office to learn about opportunities for students outside of the traditional classroom setting

The evening’s program will begin in students’ FLEX classrooms. Your student’s FLEX teacher is listed on their PowerSchool schedule. We will be reminding students to share this information with you prior to Back to School Night, too. Additionally, FLEX classroom assignments will be posted in the main atrium. BHS student volunteers and staff will also be available to help you find classrooms. Paper copies of student schedules will be handed out during FLEX class time.
During this Back to School Night, individual conferences will not be held. Families are encouraged to sign up for on-demand conferences with teachers as requested and/or needed throughout the school year.
