The football team is looking for students to run the snack shack tonight! Need to be there at 6:45pm. Go to the snack shack to help run it for some community service hours!
Are you interested in Debate Team?! Come sign up in the main office! BHS is excited to get a team together to support the tradition of Speech and Debate!
The True Crime & Forensics Club will have its 1st meeting on Friday, September 15th, during Flex in the Library! Come join us for discussion and activities around True Crime, Forensics, Unsolved Mysteries & Cold Cases! True Crime & Forensics Club will meet every Orange Friday during Flex. See Mrs. Jerome for more information.
Do you love reading and sharing great books? The 1st meeting of Page Turners & Tea will be a Summer Reading Celebration on Tuesday, September 26th, during Flex! The Library will also be awarding prizes for the Summer Reading Bingo Challenge! Summer doesn’t end until September 23rd, so there’s still time to get a five-in-a-row Reading BINGO! Click here for the Summer Reading BINGO card or stop by the Library! Page Turners & Tea will meet every Black Tuesday during Flex.
Attention Students--Are you interested in being matched with a Bowdoin College student? BHS students will meet their mentor at BHS right after school once a week for approximately an hour. Ask Mrs. Ring in the counseling office for more information. Students enrolled will receive community service hours needed for graduation.
The Brunswick High School late bus service will begin on Monday, September 18. The bus will depart B.H.S. promptly at 3:45 p.m. every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday when school is in session. To ride the late bus, students will need to secure a blue late bus pass from their teacher or the main office. For any questions regarding the late bus, please contact the Transportation Department at 319-1904.
Volunteers needed: Saturday, September 9th from 5-9 at Wild Oats/Flight Deck.
-Directing parking
-Monitoring the basketball station
-Helping in the kids zone (arts and crafts)
-Setting up and breaking down
-Monitoring entrances to make sure alcohol does not leave the designated areas
DRAGONS SPORTS NEWS!!
The BHS Golf team continued their winning ways and improved their record to 6-0 with an 8 1/2 - 1/2 victory over Oxford Hills yesterday afternoon at the Brunswick Golf Club. The Dragons led medal play with 153 strokes (+5 overall team total) against Oxford Hill's 185. The low individual medalist was senior Garrett Countway with a score of 36 (-1). The Dragons next travel to Norway Country Club on Monday at 3:30pm in a tri-match vs. Oxford Hills and Edward Little.
