• The Brunswick School Department will continue to follow USCDC guidance.
  

• USCDC guidance for COVID is now included in the CDC’s  Respiratory Virus Guidance.
  

• This guidance now specifies that if you are sick with any respiratory illness, including COVID-
  19, Influenza, or RSV, you should:

  • Stay home and away from other for 24 hours until:

    • Symptoms are improving AND

    • You have not had a fever (and are not using fever-reducing medication).

  • Use additional precautions for 5 days after resuming normal activities such as frequent
    hand washing, wearing a well-fitting mask, keeping your distance from others, and/or
    getting tested for respiratory viruses. 
    

• You no longer have to report COVID-19 test results to the school nurse.
